The KAMOV's design office has been existing for 50 years, in the past period, it has produced a great number of various types of helicopters both for civil and military sectors. Our military versions were especially used by naval force of the USSR. Despite that, the greatest success in its history was recorded by a single-seat combat helicopter Ka-50 designed for ground forces. Applying its concepts, we have implemented, so far, all the experience gained and advantages possessed by the previous types. In addition to the military versions, one should not overlook the significant contribution made in the area of designing the helicopters intended to serve the national economy, eventually special purpose helicopters. Good results were also achieved by us in the development of pilot-less craft.
