The M4A2 Sherman III, 'Holy Roller1 (CT152655), on display in Victoria Park, London, Ontario, Canada. This is an early production M4A2 with the direct vision hull, and a low bustle turret fitted with the initial production, narrow M34 gun mantlet.
This actual vehicle landed in France on D-Day with the 6th Canadian Armored Regiment (1st Hussars) and served all the way to VE Day with the same regiment. The vehicle name begins with 'H' signifying that it was a tank of the Headquarters squadron and, in fact was the regimental commander's vehicle. At present, the tank is missing most of its external fittings.
